The National German Honors Society is offered to rising Sophomores and rising Juniors. We look for hard-working individuals who are passionate about the German culture and language. The requirements to be a part of our wonderful committee are listed below. Once a year, potential members are elected through their dedication in German as well as their responses to a series of question. Members are selected by the committee leaders and Herr Burse himself.
Even if you are not a Junior or Senior, you can share your interests for German by participating in our German Club and Stammtisch! :D

MEMBERSHIP
INFORMATION
GPA
Honor Society members must have a German GPA of 3.6 and overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
DUES
$25 and include an official certificate of membership, honor chords for graduating members, and participation costs for guest speakers and society events.
VOLUNTEERISM
Complete a total of 10 volunteer hours in the 2020-2021 academic year.
